The plaque looks like it's been up awhile.

But the Jacob Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies apparently would prefer to just make up their own version....the Jacob Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies... snicker...
Obviously, the Jacob Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies is working diligently to make sure black people stay stupid.

No, doncha see, some republicans like Lincoln were really democrats at heart, some democrats like in the old south were really republicans at heart.
As a general rule, people that were good and generous were democrats and people that were mean and stingy were republicans. /s

Ah, Abraham Lincoln, now the Democrat candidate for president in 1860. I guess that means Jeff Davis was a Republican.

EIU - that’s where my liberal sister met her liberal husband, and he turned her into a liberal, and they got all their liberal advanced degrees. I would bet that they actually believe that Lincoln was a democrat at EIU.

Take away their accreditation to teach politics and history. They charge people to go to this school?

It is true. There is a giant sized mural of President Bill Clinton in the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, IL. The man has his own library.
When asked why Clinton’s likeness was in the Lincoln Museum, officials shrugged and said, “He was a great President.”

Maybe it’s just a reference to someone who believes in democracy — a democrat.

What do you expect, the place is in a ghetto in Chicago.
And anyone who sees that plaque can't read it anyway.

How do I say this politely...
That is not one of Illinois’ “premier” institutions of higher education.
And, of course, the plaque looks like it was cast brass, very expensive...maybe they can get someone to steal it for scrap and try again.

That's my alma mater.
I applied to take a course there before I had even graduated with my B.A. from a Bible College. The Dean of Graduate Studies, a Muslim with a PhD, cleared his throat and said: "Well, we have different standards here."
Yeah.

He was a degenerate tyrant and dictator who waged war against and murdered hundreds of thousands of the sons of the Founders, and is directly responsible for the oppressive Federal Government run by communist foreigners in place today.
Other than that, nice hat.

Lincoln belonged to the ANTI-SLAVERY party.
Martin Luther King belonged to the PRO-Civil Rights party.
The Democrats fought long and hard to keep slavery and the Jim Crow laws.
They continue to fight for slavery today in the form of Big Government, Big Taxation, Over-regulation of citizens, and hardcore Socialism.
