A court-appointed expert testifying in U.S. student Amanda Knox’s third murder trial in Italy said Wednesday that a new trace of DNA found on the handle of the knife alleged to have been the murder weapon belongs to Knox and not the victim.

Knox was railroaded in a trial-by-tabloid-media. A member of a hated class (attractive American female), she was convicted in the public arena with no evidence other than lurid suspicion, while the obvious guilty party was already in custody.

Their court system already exonerated her...now they are retrying her.
This is double jeopardy...and it would be treachery to send her back to Italy. Italy as corrupt as Mexico

They don’t believe in habeas corpus over there.
The European Union effectively did away with habeas corpus by allowing trials in absence, back in 2008.
She basically had a freeze in the headlights reaction when everything started to go down with the Italian Police... people misread it... and the result was some life-long psychological and emotional damage to Amanda.
I do hope she is healing... and avoiding those that seek to prey upon her.
she was in the wrong place at the wrong time....I hope people learn their lessons from this....that you think you're going to go to a foreign country, drink ,carouse, smoke and dope and have nightly flings and nothing bad is going to happen....well "it" happens.....
