Nothing wrong with gun control: who wants to WASTE bullets, ammo’s gotten expensive.
I suspect what he ACTUALLY is supporting is Involuntary Citizen Disarmament. . . .

The editor should have reviewed the article before publishing, correct? Was he just testing the waters to see what the response would be?

Of course there should be gun right limits, for example, rusty guns should be limited. No individual has the right to put a gun away wet. A gun should never be used to destroy another gun. Advertising a real gun for sale, and then switching it with a candy gun is not a constitutional right.
I could go on, but I’m not sure silly gun talk is protected by the second amendment.

Watch where Metcalf ends up. This was a planned mission to get this editorial in a prominent gun publication. Now you will see it endlessly cited by every anti-2A group and politician in the country. Like Fast & Furious, this editorial was pushed to back the anti's position. Metcalf will be rewarded handsomely for taking the flak.

I strongly suspect if there hadnt been so many threats to cancel Dick would still have a job. G&A cares nothing about your rights or Constitution. All they care about is making $$$. Any right thinking gun rag would have never entertained much less publish such trash.

I made a mistake by publishing the column, he continued. I thought it would generate a healthy exchange of ideas on gun rights. I miscalculated, pure and simple. I was wrong, and I ask your forgiveness.Ya think?

Gee, and here I thought there were gun laws of various facets around the country, “Dick”?

Haven’t bought a “Guns and Ammo” in like maybe 35 years. Now “Combat Weapons For Personal Defense” is a completely different story.

When a gun writer and a gun editor don’t understand the language of the Constitution, like the word “regulated,” it is time for them to go. Regulated means trained, skilled at using firearms, something that gets limited when the government oversteps its authority with gun regulations.

All U.S. citizens have a right to keep and bear arms, he added, but I do not believe that they have a right to use them irresponsibly.
Isn’t that what the existing criminal laws are for? He’s talking pre-crime controls.
