One of my friends was an Army Motor Pool Sgt. Yea one of those. He was the regiment “fixer”; guys were sent to him to get fixed or get out of the Army. He had a talent for either getting them to straighten up or he had the paperwork done to get them out. One day a Black Pfc was sent to him from the Mess Hall. Failed at Mess duties. He said this kid was the worst he had ever seen at taking FO to a new level. The first duty he gave this guy was to sweep the Motor Pool. Guy “swept” the whole place in two days(normally a two hour job) with the broom held off the floor enough to not actually be doing anything. My friend swears it was more work than just doing the job.
