It was less than a week before Obamacare’s exchanges launched that President Obama gave a speech in Maryland about the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. Using a community college in a friendly county as a backdrop, Obama pushed back against Obamacare critics, charging them with “fear-mongering” and mocking them for “crazy” predictions about the law. In that speech, he repeated the promise that the law’s changes would not affect those who already had health insurance. Here’s the “if you like your plan, you can keep it” segment of the speech, which made specific reference to the individual market— the segment hit with hundreds of thousands of cancellations this month because of Obamacare.

Tonight on Megyn Kelly there was a cancer patient who has now lost his insurance and instead of signing up for the new insurance that he feels is too much of a financial burden for his family he has decided to “let nature take its course”.
Barack Obama has blood on his hands and not just the drone victims but those who, like this guy, believed him and voted for him twice.
Yeah, he’s “really good at killing people”.

Well, it’s not “lying”, it’s mis-speaking, they say. And we’re too dumb to be able to hear the “nuanced” difference because our brains have been damaged by over exposure to gunshots, Christmas carols, and Rush Limbaugh.

And this is all small beer compared to next year, when the employer mandate kicks in and companies have to decide to pay much higher premiums, cut hours or kick their employees to the curb to join the exchanges. THAT’s gonna be the main event.
never before october 1 2013, did obama or anyone else in the entire administration, EVER go on record qualifying the “if you like you plan you can keep it” phrase with the extended sputtering explanation he’s been trotting out AFTER october 1.
