Poll: 78% of Uninsured Not Interested in ObamaCare

A new Gallup poll brings more terrible news for President Obama and his signature health plan, showing that only 22% of uninsured Americans intend to buy insurance through the ObamaCare exchanges.

One of the major selling points for using ObamaCare to disrupt our health care system (that polls showed up to 80% of Americans were satisfied with) was to insure the uninsured. But according to this poll, only a very small minority of that small minority is even interested in obtaining insurance.

Even more troubling is the realization that a month ago, that number was double; a full 44% of the uninsured said they would purchase insurance though the exchanges.

Over the course of a month, however, the reality of ObamaCare scared off half of that 44%

Just a smokescreen. They don’t care that 75-80% of Americans are satisfied with their current plan. Everything the libs do is towards the goal of single-payer. I don’t think they care much if Obamacare flops...in fact, they probably knew it was going to flop and intended it to do so. But it might create such a disruption and chaos in the health care market that the ignorati will demand a single-payer system to “solve” the problem.

If Obamacare is allowed to be fully implemented, it could take decades to recover from its effects—IF EVER. I was unaware of the 400% threshold—that would kill our economy.

I’ll go you one further...I’ll bet 50% aren’t aware there’s a Obama-initiated health care fiasco going on. Because a great percentage of Obamatons do not pay attention to anything outside their lives of handouts and hitting the crack pipe.

Since half the people do not pay taxes, there is no penalty on them for not getting kenyacare. The other half prettymuch already had insurance...

It’s worse: it kills America.

I know firsthand that it was once indeed the land of opportunity.

America will become a crumbling citadel of static mediocrity with a self-righteous and degenerate ruling class.

I guess they will need martial law and troops on the ground to force people with no money to buy what they cannot afford and many will not need.

ACA is not about improving health
Gun Control is not about reducing crime
The tax code is not about raising revenue
The Farm Bill is not about farming
The FTC is not about protecting consumers
Social Security is not about saving for retirement

Why do otherwise conservative freedom loving people continue to fall for these ruses? T

These things are about stripping our freedoms and forcing us to submit to the will Government.

And by that measure they are all very successful programs. Like it or not Obama has been extremely successful. Many people on this forum now owe their retirement income and health care to Obama. In about a decade all we will hear about the ACA is how “I earned it, there is lots of money if wasn’t wasted, the illegals got it,..etc..

The uninsured apparently never CARED that they were uninsured. A huge, disruptive solution for something that was apparently never a problem in the first place.

I guess the problem was perceived as it being too expensive to foot the bill for the uninsured. I now believe that they really felt it wasn't expensive enough to foot the bill. They will continue to be treated and everyone pays out the nose/ass/spleen to keep the status quo.

The “Free Schit!” crowd isn’t the least bit interested in PAYING for Health Insurance. WHODATHUNKIT.....

Remember how anyone that dared to point this out over the last 3 years was a “Crazy Right-Wing RACIST!!!”??”””

How many of that crowd have computers—newer, stronger, jup to date top of the line computers?

I have an old computer & am on a land line.

IF I wanted to get up on that website, I cannot get access. My computer isn’t good enough. Many critics have also said that IF you don’t have great computer skills, you cannot navigate the site, either.

They still get services——they just go to the emergency rooms & the Federal law says none of the hospitals can turn them away for lack of insurance or lack of any payment of any kind.

The trauma section of the Northridge Hospital in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles closed because they were going completely broke treating the gunshot wounds & stabbings of the ever-increasing gang members.

When I lived about 8 blocks from that hospital, the trauma section was declared the best in the entire county. Now, it is closed down completely. Therefore, even those with insurance cannot get their excellent services.

That’s interesting. A hospital closing the emergency room so they don’t have to treat injured people for free. Smart move even if it sad they had to make that decision.

You betchya;)

Even as we type - they are scouring consumer trends to find where ‘free enterprise’ transactions are keeping money away from the gubmint.

The Feds now control/regulate housing, food production, transportation, manufacturing, importation, healthcare distribution. Not much left to tax or own.

sounds like a stool sample - “We have to pass it to find out what’s in it” ...

So good, it could spawn a lot of slogans! Starting with:

ObaMao care is like a stool sample - “We have to pass it to find out what’s in it” ...

Love your tagline, BTW. It is an excellent way to live life.
