Many will wonder about possible voter fraud in Virginia's large urban areas. I think the real story is that once again, in spite of their "good intentions" Liberterians acted as the spoiler, insuring that a far left politician gained office. Cuccinelli is much closer to what Liberterians want than McAuliffe, but they elected McAuliffe just as much as if they had voted for him directly.

Libertarians are people with Republican ideals who like to smoke pot.
Like it or not, this is a 2 party system.

When the conservative independent I campaigned for and supported in my district’s House race only polled 4% I switched my vote to the RINO Republican, even though I worked for him up to the last day. So did the other campaign workers I spoke with. WE understood what a spoiler is. Why didn’t Virginia’s libertarians?

2% is a mandate in the mind of a liberal; beware.

How can you blame a Libertarian when it was the establishment GOP that refused to support the candidate. He basically ran out of money at the time when he should have been hammering his opponent on Obamacare via tv ads? Cuccinelli was betrayed by his own party. If he would have had decent support Libertarian votes wouldn’t have mattered.
