LPD: Man Arrested for Hate Crime After Trying to Attack His Sister
Lincoln Police arrested two men they say were involved in a hate crime Thursday evening. It happened around 5 p.m. near 27th & M Streets in Lincoln.
Police say 20-yr-old Ahmed Tuma was angry with his sister because she is in a relationship with a woman. Police say Tuma said it is shameful to their family and against Muslim beliefs.
Police say Tuma's sister and her fiancee arrived at home near 27th & M when he and a friend, 20-year-old Nathan Marks ran up to them. Police say Tuma tried to hit her with a crow bar. The couple escaped into their car, but police say Tuma repeatedly hit the car with the crowbar.
"They were in fear for their lives, he had made some verbal threats to kill the sister," Officer Katie Flood with the Lincoln Police Dept. said.
Police say the couple drove off, but Marks and Tuma got into Marks' pickup and followed, ramming them from behind nearly into oncoming traffic on S. 27th Street. The couple were able to get away and call police.

Nathan Marks? I’m guessing Jewish. I think the guy was just angry about having a homosexual in the family and wanted to scare her. If he had really wanted to kill her, I suspect she’d be dead. It’s not that difficult to pull out a pistol and hit your targets at point blank range.
As long as our dear leader loves muzzies, don’t expect things to change at the Federal level. But it shouldn’t stop at the local level. I am all in favor of helping them move out if their muzzy laws say it’s ok to hurt or kill in family honor.
Maybe death by crowbar ids the new stoning?
Her brother was probably just pissed off because his “property” was switching sides and she no longer let him sexually abuse her...
Honor killers don't mess around. They don't send a message by beating on cars. They do it by putting people in the ground. I think this was primarily a homophobic thing rather than a Muslim thing. Having a Jewish accomplice just throws off the whole religious theme.
Odd is it not? Or perhaps not.
The government looks the other way when women are subjected to sharia law - but if she claims to be a lesbian, then the government gets all up in arms.
As lesbians are beneficiaries of the same “diversity” crap as Muslims, I’m sure I have no horse in this race. Whatever people from one of these groups does to people from the other group is irrelevant to me; it is like reading about a war between Jupiter and Saturn.
What are the feminists and gay activists saying about this? Listen carefully.
