The family of a kidnapped Louisiana mother tracked down and killed the father of her child in the abandoned house where he was allegedly holding her prisoner, authorities said.
Bethany Arceneaux, 29, of Duson, La., was abducted in the parking lot of a daycare where she was picking up her 2-year-old at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department Captain Kip Judice told ABCNews.com.
Witnesses saw the suspect, Scott Thomas, allegedly force Arceneaux into his white Buick LeSabre, before driving off, Lafayette Police Department spokesman Paul Mouton told ABCNews.com.

Wait for the MSM to say the kidnapped woman and the dead perp were actually having an affair, and the family members should be brought up on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and various hate and guns crimes.
Hate crime charges won’t work because everybody involved was black, unless the Mahdi works his magic to defend his dead “son” and changes the heroic family into “white blacks.” Then the Revs. Al and Jessee will be able to have their fun.
You could drag this story out a bit into a movie script.

Meanwhile, officers who heard the gun shots fired surrounded the home, Judice said. Upon entering, they found Thomas’ lifeless body on the ground. He had sustained several gunshot wounds.Thomas’ cause of death is not known, Judice said.

My mom, yes. In fact she’d probably call her uncles and cousins in to help. But not dad. And my brother’s never touched a gun in his life.
Mom and I are the tough ones in the family.
It may not be over. Lafayette paper reports “Bethany Arceneaux’s cousin Dawnetta Roy said that the family of slain kidnapper Scott Thomas has been issuing threats of retaliation to her family over phone and on social networks.”

These people should be deputized. Apparently, they have good tracking skills.
It’ll be a shortlived feud, imho. Not much middle ground for prolonged disagreement on kidnapping and a witnessed knife assault upon the mother of his own child.
Louisiana has some of the finest people ever born, and it can be almost like a foreign country in some areas (the best parts).
