Figured he was really either a Navy Lieutenant Commander, or Army, Marine or Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.
Writers should know what they are writing about. A lot don’t.
Merely as an FYI, the Marine Corps does not have it’s own Chaplains.......those, along with medical support (doctors, corpsmen etc), are provided by the Navy.
