I would not buy ANY food product from China; especially poultry.
Hard to believe however chicken would be coming here from China. They are massive importers from us of chicken, pork; and feedgrains (corn and soybeans) to raise animals.

There was an article here a while back that the USDA was planning to send chickens to China for processing.

I think big business is planning to grow them here, ship them to china so the slaves can cut them up, and then ship back.

Two questions; how is this cheaper? and who in their right mind thinks this is a good idea.

That would include any and all products intended for animal consumption, livestock, pets, the whole nine yards. And then there is the curious case of the ching chong chicom purchase of Smithfields. What kind of quisling regime would permit the ching chong commies to buy a very large producer of finished [and for all I know intermediate] mear product sold all over the middle atlantic seaboard? What kind of regulatory extortion was involved - why wasn'y Smithfield sold to an American outfit???? So now the commie thugs, who hate our guts even more because we are defrauding them of the value of their debt by printing money, can put poison bacon on our breakfast tables. Boggles the mind.

Not only does China import tremendous amounts of meat from us, so does Europe. Over the last 3 years there have been hundreds of new Chicken Houses built in eastern NC. I have sold the lumber many times to construct them. These are builds approximately 100’ x 500’. The reason they are moving the farms to NC is to be closer to the Northeast US and offshore markets. These farms were originally mostly in AR. Moving them closer to the ports of Wilmington and Charleston cuts down on the shipping cost of the chickens to get to their target markets.

There are also many hog farmers in this area for the same reason. The reduced shipping costs to get them to port for shipment overseas or reduced trucking freight to the population centers in the northeast.

Says that we are already eating Chinese processed chicken. Think soup, think turkey burger, think chicken fingers.

I’ve even stopped buying chicken-based dog food.

Can’t trust it anymore.
