Sport, I was on the Live Thread that day. I saw no cheering. I saw Freepers watching in horror, trying to documenting the once-and-future-crackdown.
The cheering was how brave the police were. Myself and one member of this forum had a difference of opinion on the bravery of the police.It was and still is my opinion that the police that were doing that were and still are thugs with badges. They were just cowering the sheep into submission.
