Obama is doing his best to give republicans the upper hand in the 2014 elections.
But as always they will somehow manage to overcome the advantage and blow the opportunity.
I suspect they will be emboldened by Obama’s current weakness.
Emboldened that is, to stop fighting democrats and make war on the Tea Party conservatives.
What came to my mind is: Just because he isn't going to subject these insurance companies to penalties for continuing to issue "sub standard policies", what the HELL makes this idiot and his koolaid kiddies think that alone is going to incentivize these companies to reinstate already cancelled policies??? Especially if it's only for a short term, when administrative costs must be considered. This ain't the damn government where costs are absorbed by the taxpayers.
Maybe he can issue an executive order restoring virginity and virtue to all the hookers in the US. That ought to work about as well.

You may not be out of the woods. If you have employer provided health insurance, guess what. Your turn in the barrel got delayed a year. You employer's insurance policy/agreement/contract must meet the Obamacare Standards next year. And they will be the same as you can get on the exchanges. Why would the employer A) spend money to manage it B) not take the saving of a simple $2,500 per employee fine when they are paying twice that now (depending on your coverage and what you contribute).
I couldn't have put it better. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE.

It's going to effect every American citizen eventually if it isn't stopped. Btw, doesn't the employer standards begin in January? Wasn't that what Rush was saying?
The public is not patient, nor should they be. Listen to the stories of the dis-insured. There will be a Million Defrauded Citizens march on D.C. demanding Obamacare Repeal by Christmas. It will make that Rostenkowski event look tame. And remember, this same cancellation of policies will hit the group market next year at this time, which the Dems now know. Obamacare is the walking dead. Obama just needs Feinstein, Manchin, Landreaui et al to tell him so.

This is the first step, he’s figuring out what kind of freebies he can hand out so the press and the citizens will stop hounding him.
