While President Obama continues to modify his healthcare law—already proven to be a web of bureaucracy and anything but affordable—the free market continues to demonstrate that Americans can find what works for them without government intervention.

Sean Parnell’s blog, The Self-Pay Patient, is a tool for all Americans who want to be in charge of their own health care, without the government or an insurance company acting as an intermediary or provider of reimbursement payments to physicians and other health professionals.

Hillarycare did. And it was known before it was nearly unanimously voted down.

This was one of the things that liberals vehemently insisted on that this time it was different, so it was OK - it wasn’t illegal to get or give treatment outside the system.

But, without this level of coercion, the system can’t even get started, much less exist sustainably.

a friend of mine while building a business for a few years, maintained a catastrophic health policy, which was dirt cheap and joined a group health discount plan... not insurance, just rates that were pre-negotiated to costs similar to what the ins giants were paying. I’m guessing these sort of programs are now illegal.

“I’m guessing these sort of programs are now illegal.”

There are so many far better suggestions that could have been put into practice regarding healthcare insurance instead of this massive POS called ObamaCare.
