Funny how my kids don’t get as sick as often as the other kids. Nor do they have “allergies.”
Dirt and mudpies are one thing, but Herpes in library books? Gross!
In a related note, 0bama’s biography tested positive for hubris, stupidity, and delusion, all highly contagious and debilitating to any sort of reasonable logical thought.
Can’t do it for each individual page, but I use Clorox Wipes on each library book; cover, in/outside leaf, front, back and along all page edges. I think it’s sufficient...most of the time.
And they get ‘em back cleaner than they were.
When I was a kid we played outside in the dirt, played with outside dogs and cats, caught frogs, went barefoot and all kinds of other things. We were rarely sick. This was before hand sanitizer was even invented. I never heard of things like food and other allergies that are such an epidemic until the last couple of decades. I was a kid in the late 50's and early 60's.
American Indians were never exposed to our bugs until catastrophe. Keeping your lifestyle pristine invites the same catastrophe.
Memories of my childhood where we would have bleeding wounds and pushing black dirt into the cut was guaranteed to stop the bleeding. And go right back to whatever ball game or war game we were playing.
