Wisconsin City Sells Out of Palin Book After Visit (with video)
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | November 15, 2013 | Kevin Scholla

When former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin went to Wausau, Wisconsin on Thursday, the whole city sold out of her new book, Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas. Palin held a book signing at the local Walmart, where a line snaked around the gigantic store (see video below) for the sold out book. Breitbart News has confirmed the town's Sam's Club and Barnes & Noble also sold out all their copies of her new book as well yesterday.

At Walmart, Palin greeted a multitude of well-wishers and signed book after book. Just like her Bethlehem, PA stop, she stayed late because of an abundance of supporters. She may have stayed later if not for one very relevant detail. According to a Walmart official, the store ran out of books.

Walmart wasn't alone. The entire town of Wausau was cleaned out. A Harper Collins source told Breitbart News that along with Walmart, Wausau's Sam's Club and Barnes & Noble had also sold all of their copies. The stores have confirmed that all their books were sold.

Among the many that showed up Thursday to greet Palin was Rachel Campos-Duffy, national spokesperson for The LIBRE Initiative and wife of Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), whom Palin endorsed early in 2010 in his upstart bid to unseat Democrat Rep. David Obey (D-WI).

Campos-Duffy found out quickly that Palin had seen her on TV that Thursday morning....

I wonder if SEIU bought them all so that they could have a bonfire and burn her in effigy?

What kind of retard stands in line to NOT buy a sold out book?

I think that is more an indictment of our K-12 and journalism school programs than the people in line. They really don't teach English grammar and composition anymore. Many of the people in line had probably already bought the book or brought one from home, if my experience with book signings is in any way valid.

Wow. The video of the line in WalMart was fabulous! I am marveling over the spectrum of Palin's appeal, and how it reaches them is beyond me considering the MSM's boycott of Palin, but I suppose Palin is the first to master "social media," where I am a kitten on a 5-lane freeway, technologically speaking! I admire her a lot for that.

My brother & sis in law went to a Palin rally a few years ago, said it was mobbed, there were lots of younger folks as well as baby boomers and older, and when they went through the next day, it was so tidy you'd never know that many thousands had been there the day before.

... "Her real life experience and down-to-earth style is the reason why hundreds of women lined up at Walmart to meet her and why every one of her books was sold out in Wausau and the surrounding area. She truly is every woman – only hotter!" - ......Rachel Campos-Duffy, national spokesperson for The LIBRE Initiative and wife of Rep. I picked up two copies of her book today. I’m tempted to make the five-hour drive up to the location she’ll be signing in Texas in a week or so. But I think it takes place at either a Sam’s Club or Costco, and as I’m not a “member” of either, I’d hate to drive all the way up and then not allowed admittance. Plus, the idea of five hours drive, plus eight hour wait in line, then five hour drive back, sounds pretty wearying.

But, I did it before, to attend a speech of Palin’s. And then again, I stood out in brutal heat for several hours, for the Cruz rally with Palin and DeMint at the Woodlands. I’ll see how things are going next week before I make my final decision.

The same type of "retard" who believes in Palin, her beliefs, and what she can do for this country.

Standing in a line to buy a book that isn't there
is like worshiping a celebrity that will not run.

Yeah, I can kind of see that.

You never stay civil when it comes to Sarah.
