From November of 1964. It didn't make the Top 10, but it's still keeper. Great attention-grabbing opening.

And (HUGS) to you. All is well in Arizona? It’s still chilly here, and it rained all day. Unlike the usual Southern downpour, it was a gentle, soaking rain.

Early Cat Stevens from 1966. Great arrangement, to include harpsichord.

All is well...just a busy week!

We had a bit of a heat wave & got got back up into the 90’s Pub.

We are supposed to be in the mid 70’s over the weekend & looking forward to it. Rain wouldn't bother me a bit!:)

From November of 1964. The Wrecking Crew did the instrumental backup, and the opening is still a killer. Love the sense of menace.

Good evening, Maestro! I remember this one well - I was living in Taiwan at the time - a Junior in High School.

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

Eagles Up! Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

In 1967, my musical tastes were somewhat different from those of my peers. I found this disc in the 45 rpm bin at or local record shop on Greenleaf Ave. in Whittier, Calif., and I'm pretty sure I played it for the first time on Friday, November 17, 1967, shortly after coming home from school.

He wrote this song. It's kind of sappy.

Cat Stevens: "Here Comes My Baby"

And this what happened when real professionals got their hands on that song. From the spring of 1967.

The Tremeloes: "Here Comes My Baby" (long intro)
