On this day in music history--November 16, 1934--Katherine Smith's Stay As Sweet As You Are was fresh out of the Decca diskery. Although not a major hit, it was one of her finest recordings.

From November of 1964. It didn't make the Top 10, but it's still keeper. Great attention-grabbing opening.
