No, it’s probably simply that there are more of them (both immigrants and general and Hispanics in particular).

I live in the South, and blacks won’t take dangerous jobs in general. Some whites will, but not gladly, and I actually heard one white guy say he wouldn’t take the job as a roofer because it was work for Mexicans.

This was after he had quit and gone back on welfare after literally only two days ripping up shingles.
