The Obama administration hopes to upgrade the performance of its faltering HealthCare.gov website this weekend by adding new capacity just two weeks before a crucial deadline for having it running smoothly, a presidential adviser said on Friday.

"We will be bringing additional servers online, as well as additional database capacity and data storage. With these upgrades, we will significantly increase the system's capacity," President Barack Obama's website adviser Jeffrey Zients told reporters in a conference call.

HealthCare.gov, the administration's Obamacare web portal for offering subsidized private health coverage to uninsured Americans in 36 of the 50 states, has been at the center of a political firestorm over technical problems that overwhelmed its October 1 launch and have dogged the system ever since....

The new look might be something like this:

Afterwards they might even add tables and ooohh one of those sidebars that doesn't move when the rest of the page does.... that's edgy

They added capacity? Nice. 20 VM’s? 60 VM’s? How are they scaling it? What is the bandwidth? Only takes 2-3 months to expand bandwidth. How are they failing over?

Subpeona the issues log and the risk register.

March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days.

December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day.

What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this federal government to build a working webpage.

Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin - all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!!

And they can’t build a webpage.

....this latest "fix" certainly won't fix the browsing feature; "shoppers" would be unable to pick a plan, until after they've surrendered all their personal and financial data....

Excellent point-----this is no accident----keep in mind Obama and his team first act in office was (1) to takeover the census, and, (2) install Rahm Emanuel in a dual position as WH COS and head honcho at Treasury (this was cleverly done AFTER Geithner was named).

Also kept quiet is that healthcare.gov is a voter registration web site.

Makes you wonder what these arch-Chicago criminal are doing with all the info.

================================================================================

REFERENCE--Obama's stranglehold on the US Treasury begins.

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings of the Treasury that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. People don’t want to go to that site for many reasons, one being security. They also know they are going to get screwed on the plans and the high prices for coverage they do not want.

When Obama and his evil stooges tell you it is better insurance, you know that it is not.

It is always the opposite of what he says.

“You are giving up too soon. With enough hope and love, they’ll get it fired up in a jiffy.”

Why do I get the feeling they are going to be sorry the website is working (if in fact, it does). I think the results of people signing up will be dismal, (except for Medicade signers)

They may actually get the website back up and functional. I understand they have industry titans working on it.

But, therein lies the problem.

Once it is up, the American people will see the grill of the truck that is heading at them.

BINGO, winner. The three card monte players dream, watch over here while I screw you over there.

All this fuss about the web site has taken all the lightening away from the real problems: higher insurance costs, rebates to insurance companies, subsidies to families making up to 90K, potential costs exceeding a trillion more in debt etc. Those are just the beginnings. Let’s not forget the death panels, the huge deductables, unneeded insurance costs too. Meanwhile, what began as perhaps 20 million needing insurance, that was the prelaw estimate, is now something like 50 million estimated which will not go below 20 million once the law is fully implemented. So what we have is a law which insured no one additionally while collapsing an entire industry and putting it under federal control.

Our forefathers would have run out of ammo by now.
