But I remember a day like that in Mississippi. There was an issue with the base weather guys and a seasoned long timer pilot who told them, it’s 75 deg now and 45 deg on the other side of that front. He ignored the weather guys and shut down flying, tying the planes down.
The sky was green. The storm was violent. knocked down every pine tree.
We just didn’t have weather like that where I grew up. Well, hurricanes are a different story.
My Mississippi grandmother always said that weather was ‘tornado weather’.
