950,000 volt stun gun... that’s quite a weapon, considering that the break down voltage in dry air is around 1 million volts/meter.

This means that either (a) the stun gun will throw a 3 ft long arc and the prongs must be spaced at least that far apart or (b) the reporter is absolutely clueless on science.

Guessing that mr.naz didn’t get the memo about not toting edged weapons in the UK either. As for the reporter, you could have told him 950,000 amps and he would have written it in to the article. I’m amazed at what I read sometimes and wonder if the writers have a clue about anything. Reminds me of the newscasters in frisco that fell for the made up pilot names from the plane crash out there earlier this year. And read them on air and never caught on. Dolts. Hmmm. Telepromter readers. Why does that sound familiar?
