Sure, happens all the time.
Without evidence or witnesses what can the courts do- read a chicken’s entrails?
Maybe some evidence will be forthcoming or one of them will get tripped up in their story.

Never a fan of the bull-pup layout for anything yet. You’re relocating the trigger and action too far from the breech and that requires significant re-jiggering of the internal workings. Make it more difficult and it becomes more difficult.

I share your concern and not sure I will try to smith that myself but would like to have it, if not unwise.

Look...let me tell you something before you get all “despising” of me. I was actually a supporter of Zimmerman in the Trayvon situation. I urged people to wait for all of the information before convicting him in the press. I had people calling me everything under the sun for simply pointing out that he had clearly been beaten. I didn’t think justice would be done in that case... but the jury did the correct thing. There was then a kerfuffle with his ex... which ended in no charges for him. I think he’s been pulled over for speeding a couple of times.
Now we have a situation where his “current” GF called the cops because of a confrontation involving broken furniture, a gun and him barricading himself in her house?
I reallyreallyreallyreallly wish this wasn’t happening. But... I mean... if I was HIM, the LAST thing I’d be doing is getting involved in ANY confrontations at all.
I’m not trying to throw a brickbat. This is just disappointing.

Stay away from women for a while, Zim. Only the nutty ones are going to come anywhere near you, and they're all going to accuse you of the same thing. Your name is practically synonymous with "gun" these days, in case you didn't know. Be a monk for a while, George. Work on your chess game. Take up brewing beer. Just for the love of everything, stay the heck away from the women.
