Recently toured the Eagle Ford region. Went to town of “Three Rivers” to repair a flat truck tire. A sign on the edge of town welcomed us saying town population was 1836. Not now. Hotels, strip malls and endless amounts of trucks all signaled the place is a mega boom town. Oil fields host huge “grasshoppers” or oil pumps. They are despirate for Commercial Truck drivers who can pass drugs tests. Fortunes are being made here.

I helped in the design/build of a Crude Oil Truck unloading station in Three Rivers a couple years ago. The refinery existing stations could not handle the truck traffic and the pipelines were going to take a few years to get built.
