Goldwater was using strategy and tactics...from the 1950s. As much as we can say he might have been a better candidate...he just didn’t perform at the new levels required in the 1960s. It’s like Reagan’s first attempt at the office....he just wasn’t ready.

But, Goldwater was running ahead in the polls, even with his antiquated tactics. Kennedy’s best PR move was getting himself killed.

One strong strong memory I have is my parents crying in front of the TV set when Kennedy won.——They didn’t believe in Camelot either.

My father did that when Clinton won in 1992. He said that he thought God set up leaders and he just didn’t understand. I told him that we get the government we deserve. Israel wanted a king so he gave them a king. And he gave Germany Hitler.

In that paragraph is a hint at why I don’t think things are going to go well for our country.

My parents understood that concept....it's Biblical.

But I happen to think we have some righteous leaders in the waiting who will, by God's mercy, help restore our nation.

Personally, I think we are approaching Ezekiel 39, Matthew 24 and Revelation.

I say this because I see man hitting a time of scientific awakening, very soon, that can’t really happen.

I believe we will unlock the keys to immortality within a few decades. I do not think that would be a good thing.

I believe Civilization is becoming, as a single unit, hostile to Christianity.

I believe we are entering a totalitarian one world government and only the overt involvement of God will prevent it.

Though I use September of 1939 to describe the place we are in today, I don’t believe it will be remotely the same. Partly because I believe we are entering an era where those with power and desire to control everyone will have technology at their fingertips to examine you in real time from multiple viewpoints at their will, and be able to, in real time, determine who they should pay very close attention to and, if they deem it necessary, off you quickly.

I don’t believe it will get to that point before the Lord returns or, if it does, it will be very brief. Say, 3.5 years.

I don’t believe there is a human solution to our current dilemma. It’s too big.

Bookmarked, LBJ sure gets ragged on. I don’t know if he deserves it.
