A travesty.
It must be disheartening to see the degradation that seems to be permeating law enforcement. Once the staunchest supporters of law and order, conservatives, now a growing culture of bad enforcement, poor decision making and an overreach of power. This was ushered in by the same PC rot that has now metastasized in our once beloved military. It used to be good cops outnumbered the bad ones by a wide margin and we all knew it. I hope your department is in good working order. If so, it won’t stay that way. Maybe you can opt for early retirement and leave it all behind.
