Judging by this, it looks like the niobrara wattenberg formation will produce about 157,000 barrels a day in 2013 or roughly the same as last year.

But I could be wrong about that. I may have conflated the wattenberg formation with all of colorado. Because it would make more sense that production would have increased—except that it looks like drilling is down. ,,, because only a couple of the independents mastered the formation.

What do you gather from this article.

A side note on this is that the complexity of the wattenberg formation ie —the complex fracture zones— suggests that mere complexity will not prevent the oil men from cracking the code in the Monterrey formation in California.
