“Millions of American families are going to come together for a pleasant meal together, with varying degrees of thankfulness the normal expectation. But I predict that obamacare is going to be the number one topic around the Thanksgiving table,”
I hope you are correct, but I’m quite skeptical.
On another thread today another mentioned many Americans are apolitical, not interested or involved in politics. I fully agree. Couple that with many families having obama loving Millennials or outright leftist loons, many will not want to disrupt a family event by starting such a conversation.
I would tend to agree that many Americans are apolitical and not interested in politics . . . but this is not about politics. This is about having to pay hundreds and thousands of dollars for no real perceived benefits. This is about Aunt Mary, the one who is battling breast cancer having to find a new doctor. This is about Grandma suddenly realizing that the doctor she has been seeing doesn’t take Medicare patients anymore.
This is firstly a pocketbook and a health issue. Millions of Americans are waking up to the fact that they will be paying more money, for less real medicine.
For the LIV’s, it is not politics when you get hit in your wallet and punched in your kidneys, both at the same time.
