He's been through more than most, if not all, of us can actually imagine, but his recovery is coming along almost miraculously! Jim's Physical Therapy is progressing. He's currently working on strengthening his shoulders, arms and hands. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers for Jim.

I could use them to make specific rooms warmer but I’d still need the furnace to keep pipes from bursting.
First time this year, I put on a long sleeve shirt.
Wind out of the north a bit brisk today.
Clear blue skies, but a mess coming in from the west it looks like.
We have a rancher with no basement so everything stays about the same temp in the rooms that we use. The outside water I need to turn off yet. Soon. Very soon.
I was looking at that mess on the map. Do they know yet if it’s freezing rain, sleet or snow?

We have a hand dug, fieldstone basement laid between 1860 and 1870. It’s cold and damp.
We (North Houston) just had (still have!!) the mess that’s a comin’ yer way. If it isn’t freezin’, it feels pretty close with the wind blowin’ as hard as it is!!

It rained yesterday and the temps dropped and it flurried. The roads froze. Hubby drove 2 hours to sons house in it and then back.
