And then, when Romney implemented RomneyCare instead of ObamaCare, they'd still lose their insurance

Apparently you are one of the uninformed. Romney did not suggest a Federal health care plan. He stated many times that it is not the Federal Government but a State decision. In both branches of the State legislature of MA originated the plan voted positive for it and all Romney did was sign it. It was a plan by the State of MA to attempt to cover the poor. Miss Romney yet?

You prefer to be slow boiled. I prefer to hop out of the pot. You like your socialism one state at a time. I'm happy to fight it on a national stage. You long for Romney, or McCain, or Christie. I long for Cruz, or Lee, or Palin. Do I miss Romey? Oh hell no. But you feel free to. It's your right.

Logical me, your screen name is a LIE. It should be "kneejerk emotional me."

Romney is on board philosophically with the entire concept of government-run health care. Voting for Romney was voting for a guy who believed the same things as Obama when it came to the government's role in "free" Americans' lives. State or Federal, socialist nanny state government tyranny is socialst nanny state government tyranny. And you call yourself "logical"!!!!!!! What a joke!

You, IL"logical me", need to leave the Republican party and go join the Democrat party. PLEASE DO SO NOW.

“Well, I’m not president so I can’t be so clear minded as to tell you what I would have done. But my own plan was to say to each state, ‘You’ve got a requirement to move to a point where all your people are insured, and where you cover preexisting conditions. We’re going to give you flexibility from the federal government level to help you be able to do so." -- Mitt Romney, November 3, 2013.

You've presented the myth that Mitt Romney doesn't support state health care before. He doesn't support a 'state decision'. He supports the federal government making the states implement socialized health care. Here are his own words, from just over three weeks ago.

Other posters have it right. Romney would have implemented socialized health care on a state level and the Republican Party would be destroyed for it in the press and at the grass-roots level. No, I do not miss Mitt Romney for any reason. Why do you?
