Between this and the nuts who already have their Christmas trees up, I want to scream.
This is my favorite holiday of the year. What can I say? I live for basting a giant bird and coming up with a vat of gravy my sister insists is it’s only food group. (that’s my job :))
I usually skip church because of the turkey, but again, this is always a warm wonderful service.
I have been screaming since the week before Halloween...or was it the day after Labor Day?? - I forget.
I’m one of the ‘nuts’ who has her tree up already - mostly because hubby is a big kid and insists it be up for Thanksgiving. I love fall decorations so I wouldn’t minding waiting until after Thanksgiving.
However, it’s a lot of work dragging all the Christmas stuff out, putting the fake tree together, lights on, decorations on, etc etc. At least it’s up long enough to enjoy it. We leave it up until the last day of the Christmas season on Epiphany.
