In addition to murder, car theft, controlled substance violation, should be evading arrest and hit-and-run.
Two lives ruined.
If this had happened in California, some greedy plaintiff lawyer would try to get the pedestrian’s family to sue the taxpayers.
If Obama had a *****.
She might have been thinking of that rapist cop
More likely, the perp would sue the pedestrian's family for him being in the way.
A quick peek at a map of San Antonio shows this occurred in a community of immigrants.
Only one, the pedestrian.
The woman was driving a stolen car, and already had arrests for dope.
Her life was already ruined

So do you actually live in California?
You sound skeptical.
what I am describing, I have seen first hand.
“A quick peek at a map of San Antonio shows this occurred in a community of immigrants.”
That is pretty much the entire city of San Antonio. Last I heard about 1/3 of the drivers in SA are not insured.
“what I am describing, I have seen first hand.”
No not skeptical, it’s just that it’s no more typical in California than it is in any number of other (probably most) states today! Corruption and crooked lawyers are the rule, not the exception. Just look at all the ambulance chasing lawyers advertising on TV. And I don’t see any of them who have their principal offices in California. Most are from Massoftwoshits and Texas!
So says the poster who lives in an area who's only claim to fame is a bad sitcom from the 80's. Y'know everyone north of Austin is a yankee.......... ;)
[Just messin' with ya']

I'd say closer to 1/4, and most are on the south side.
Throw her in a cage and throw the keys away.
When I lived there, which had been three times in the last 20 years, that was known as one of the no-go zones.

“Dallas” or “King of the Hill” which is Arlington? (^;
All the fault of the cops. They should NEVER chase a criminal because somebody might get hurt! < /sarc >
Prayers for the family of the victim.
I actually liked “King of the Hill”. :)
Yes. Agreed.
