Morales is an ex-Marine, but while she spoke of seeing action overseas, reports show she never completed her trainingFirst of all, there is no such thing as an ex-Marine.
Second, if she didn't complete her training and washed out, then she never was a Marine and thus cannot be an ex-Marine. Even if there were such a thing.

There’s no such thing as an ex-Marine either. In the case of my dad and my brother, they’re both former Marines. My brother is presently leading a guard detail at the Pearly Gates.
