It is time for Japan to call in the American Ambassador for one of those pro forma dressings down, and they Japan needs to recognize that the US under Obama won’t be coming to their aid in a confrontation with China. Japan needs to move its military up to a full offensive capability and to secretly assemble the nuclear weapons that so many believe they have in component parts.
The American Ambassador to Japan is Caroline Kennedy. She was appointed ambassador because, well, she is a Kennedy.
It won't do Japan any good to call her in. Kennedy probably has no idea what an air defense zone is, what islands are involved, or why Peking is now being called Beijing.
It may be time for Japan, Taiwan, and, South Korean to have a little confab, informal of course, about the matter of Chinese military activity in their neighborhood.
Maybe develop some kind of, informal of course, communication lanes between their command structures.
Maybe develop a mutual defense strategy, informal of course.
Maybe. All informally, of course.
A nuclear armed Japan? The hell with that. China taking over Japan would be better than that.
“Caroline. If the United States isn’t going to stand with us, then you might as well go home.”
