As has been pointed out before, parts of our DNA is shared by many animals, not just chimps and pigs.

True, but not many are as close as pigs in the characteristics pointed out in the article. I know it's hard for many to accept.

Well, not exactly.

Humans share 40-50% DNA with bananas. I doubt anyone is going to try and claim we descended from a bunch of fruit.

Then again, you never know.

That is not exactly true. The fact is the maker used the same general plan on all species, instead of re-inventing the wheel, so to speak, each time he made a new species. We have more in common with some fruits than we do with pigs.
