I’m baffled (not really). With the original roll out, they said the problem was that they didn’t have a completed website that was thoroughly tested. They still don’t have a completed website that’s thoroughly tested.

We all need to continuously log on so we can “test” the site and see if it can handle the traffic load.

So it begins. They started out the WSJ figuring some out here would start to believe rather than have a WAPO or NYT liberal rag start it.

By Monday, all the alphabets and liberal rags and blogs in the country will be trumpeting success.

Go to the website and click all the different languages, then just click random buttons which you won't be able to read, because they are in Russian etc.

It doesn't take much to have text writing over itself...lol.

and tools for processing payments to insurers haven’t been built.

***********
A minor problem. lol

There are other critical functions that still need to be built but the article doesn’t go into that. Just saying.

Officials mixed optimism with caution. "November 30th does not represent a relaunch of HealthCare.gov," said Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the government's Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which operates the site. "It is not a magical date. There will be times after November 30th when the site, like any website, does not perform optimally."

I don't think I have ever heard a corporation make a disclaimer like this about their website.

"Just go to www.oursite.com. It might not work, but just keep trying. Day after day! It's FUN! Be the first one in your state to get through.

There are no website problems.

The problems will be fixed by the end of the month.

We never said it would be perfect.

You’re using it wrong.

Republicans didn’t want it to work, so it doesn’t.

The Tea party sabotaged it.

It’s Bush’s fault.

Or perhaps volume is light because even clueless Obama voters don’t want their personal information on this hackers’ paradise of a web site. Since the payment portion will not be available for weeks, those enrolled are the prospective Takers....a “business model” destined for failure.

And these people will decide if your medical care is covered or not.

If they remember to decide.

Stuck on stupid. How could the people responsible for concocting such a shambles of a law possibly supervise the creation of a functioning website?

Stupid is as stupid does.

It’s not the “website” that is the actual problem.
For me to obtain the same coverage I have today with my employer, I will have to spend 212% more a month on “healthcare”, that does not include the deductibles that I have to pony up first before I can even access health “insurance”. This thing is going to break America’s back once the employer mandate is put into place. People have no clue how bleak things are going to be in a few short years here in the U.S. and once our “buying power” is greatly diminished, that trickles out to the rest of the world’s economies and they start stumbling and faltering. It is going to be very ugly for the next couple decades unless this thing is killed and killed fast.

I keep getting confused with the date. They’re talking about this Nov 30th deadline like it’s not today.

As if it matters. No one cares if the website ever “works”. Its not selling anything people want.

They can fix the website, they can give delays, the bottom line is that America does not want a Marxist healthcare system. Actually I stand corrected—the parasites of this nation fully want it as they do not contribute.
There are many problems with healthcare. I’ll stand as an expert on the matter as I was a former provider. Thirteen years. What should have happened was the elimination of monopolies: insurance companies AND the clinics/ hospitals. But what should also happen is everyone pays. And by the way, the Medicaid “poor” you champion are the largest abusers of the system. I can count the compliant Medicaid patients on one hand in thirteen years. This is not an exaggeration. For those that want to argue that point, until you put in thirteen years you have not an opinion.
The answer is to reduce the ridiculous costs of say an overnight stay in a hospital or the like. There are emerging fee for service clinics that cost 80% less than what is the norm as the bureaucracy is eliminated. That means you have to pay for the service. Everyone. And there are charity organizations as well.
But as I have written extensively now as a fiction writer the answer is not Marxism. The answer to a corrupt system is not a more corrupt system of social imprisonment. Worked real well with serfdom in 1917 Russia didn’t it? One man pays so another pays less or not at all. If this continues my fiction will become a reality in our certain collapse.
