I THOUGHT I remembered it being “Merry Christmas from Eat n’ Park”! I hate political correctness! I still love the commercial though!
Meanwhile, I watched a couple of videos of Pittsburgh Dad afterwards. One of them was sponsored by Eat n’ Park. I don’t think they have Pittsburgh Dad Smiley Cookies where I live. Darn! :-)
While Q&R are taking a break between gigs, I would like to send to them a fun read, WATERGATE AMENDMENT a book about the greatest conspiracy in American History. I tried to get his mailing address with out any luck.

A former neighbor of mine worked on that commercial. At the time (our kids were little—so I’m guessing 20-24 yrs or so) they one all kinds of awards. EatNPark (at least back then) had ALL their adwork done locally. I remember when the Smiley cookie was being “tested.” Neighborhood kids were happy to review the cookies...it was quite awhile back :)
I guess NO Q/R updates til maybe AFTER new year? I was reading a Tomlin thread here on FR last night (about him stepping on the field n’@) but some FReeper questioned WHY elRushbo is such a Stiller fan. someone else posted Rush’s early WIXZ & KQV resume and Jim Quinn replaced him; he replaced Quinn. They have to have some fleeting relationship. Quinn quoted Rush often. I wonder what Limbaugh’s thoughts on the Q/R “situation” would be. Just curious. Did Rush influence fellow DJ Quinn to conservatism. Was it vice versa? Or just a coincidence that they ended up on the same Right Page?

Oh how I would LOVE to go, but I’m 60 miles away and work that day! Maybe they’ll report on how it went on their website! I hope so!
Sneakers - just got another mass email from Rose this morning with invite to Friday event. She put 900+ email addresses on the “To” line!!!! I wrote her back explaining that now everyone has a copy of her addresses...... I hope I don’t start getting spammed!!!!
