ABC News ^ | December 2, 2013 | Mary Bruce and Devin Dwyer

Bob Shlora of Alpharetta, Ga., was supposed to be a belated Obamacare success story. After weeks of trying, the 61-year-old told ABC News he fully enrolled in a new health insurance plan through the federal marketplace over the weekend, and received a Humana policy ID number to prove it.

But two days later, his insurer has no record of the transaction, Shlora said, even though his account on the government website indicates that he has a plan.

“I feel like this: My application was taken … by a bureaucrat, it was put on a conveyor belt and it’s still going around, and it’s never going to leave the building,” he said. “I’ve lost hope. If it happens, great.”

Obama administration officials acknowledged today that some of the roughly 126,000 Americans who completed the torturous online enrollment process in October and November might not be officially signed up with their selected issuer, even if the website has told them they are....

But now his personal information is packaged and posted online in a tidy little bundle, readily available to helpful navigators with no criminal background checks.

Comrade--that farmer's wife would get a bailout. On national TV. And she'd sit next to Sasquatch at the next speech.

The next farmer's wife, however, will be SOL. As will the next and the next and the next...

40% of this thing is not ready...the payment and referral systems. 40%! Meanwhile Obama & Carney are lying and will continue to lie, pretending it's all done. It's the socialist way.

Where did the $600+ million go, if the dang thing isn't built? Why won't the media demand an accounting?

This will be a huge issue next year.

No hospital will deny emergency service when it is realized the coverage is not real.

But everything else will come to a halt while the paperwork is sifted through. Even in past years, this was a major headache. But usually you’d be dealing with private companies and there was some measure of expediency.

Now someone somewhere will have to contact a non-existant government agency regarding an unkown...a non-payment of a subsidy, or a change in eligiblity status, or some other factor never before involved in the equation. Like income. Each phone call will take hours. Every step of verification will take days or weeks. Who will pay for all this labor? The receptionist at the doctor’s office? The pharmacy tech? Meanwhile the lines back up.

They can’t even get people registered on the website. In a few weeks on Jan 1st, they’ll have support staff trained and capable to handle customer service?

Say, someone (was insured but cancelled) attempts to go through the ObamaCare process, fails due to site issues - has a major heart attack on January 2, 2014?

Lawsuit?

Can you imagine the American people's reaction if it just debited their checking accounts? They might finally do something about it. But probably not.

I'm sure that is an option that the insurance companies prefer. They know that many writing monthly checks will stop.

i have long argued that once they get the website working, they get a big enough application volume to expose the rest of the bugs in their untested system.

On Hannity tonight Kucinich, of all people, tried to push the narrative that we need to find out where the money went to build the website and who authorized it. Hannity kept changing the subject.

When Steve King mentioned impeachment Hannity said it’ll never happen and changed the subject.

I guess that NSA bunch has something on Hannity.
