Nicely done! I was never a fan of the BCS but I think you did a nice job here.
With due respect, thats kind of absurd and has liberal weenie underpinnings. People care about both the money and the best team, HENCE all the bitching about the BCS that has gone on for over a decade!! Plus, people tend to like big time college football, which is a damned expensive product to produce….in case you've never itemized it. In other words, college football makes a lot of money at the big schools, but it COSTS a lot of money to produce. Do you even realize the price of one football helmet? And now most teams have 5 or 6 each player. Let alone the cost of maintaining a stadium that only has 8 events a year……think about it….and leave your inner liberal aside.

The issue for some fortunate schools won’t be whether they get in, but what their seeding is and whether they have to travel. So there’ll be bitching on 2 fronts.

In this case, it’s becaue almost everyone in the sports media is a lib weenie as well. As such, they always hate “the man” (that would be the BCS, the NCAA, and of course all athletic directors) - and fawn over the players.
Thus, they have not the IQ or maturity to step back and actually analyze something with cold hard logic……
And judged purely by logic, the BCS did what it was tasked to do. Period.
