Martin Bashir Resigns From MSNBC

Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.

Good. Let him resign from America, as well. It’s time we took out ALL the trash.

Would 'deflect' as in deflection be the same as a redirect?

Yes I think so. The very thing the Left does to avoid the debate in the forum of ideas where they lose every time.

If one of the Fox hosts said that about, let’s say, Wendy Davis, Ailes would have bounced him by the end of the day.

I disagree, it would not take that long. Go to commercial, come back with a new host. Ailes would fill in himself till they got someone else if need be.

Men and women of character do the right thing. They instinctively know where the line is and how to handle matters like this.

Next stop ... the Executive Branch (possibly after a short but lucrative stint at a liberal “non-profit”).

Since the target of his nastiness was Sarah Palin, he'll have a good chance to get hired by the RNC.

Pursue other interests (get a fed govt job, be next in line for Carney’s post, something with the DNC...).

Aw, so sad, such a fine man, we should give him a lift.

Onyx1 will gladly drop him off (literally) somewhere between Southern California and those islands in the middle of the Pacific (after the book signing of course).

When you are too freaky and weird for MSNBC, where else can you go?

A Right Wing dream but no. Obama's life work is to fulfill his twenty years under a church that preached "G-d D-mn America" by overthrowing its free constitutional republic and replacing it with socialism. Obama is a true believer in socialism.

BTW, why is there no country in the world run by blacks or Arabs that is not a dictatorship? Seems their cultures don't understand freedom and the free market. Obama seems to be intelligent yet seems to still be a part of that mind set.

America just isn’t ready for the Bashirs of the world. There are still way too many Americans living in this country which make America too good of a country for Bashir and his ilk to operate in. Maybe after the GOPe’s “amnesty” freak show.

Over in DUmmieland, it is NOT surprising that the DUmmies are upset.

But I expected a few of them to allow that his language against Palin WAS out of line -- and that Bashir should have received some lesser punishment than his call-it-a-resignation FIRING.

Nope! As of comment #14 here in DUmmieland, not a word of mild critique against Bashir's "new tone of civility":
