The forum even had a concrete resolution, as C4CG held a straw poll in which the audience picked Brannon, a doctor with a practice in obstetrics and gynecology in Cary, as its favorite to run against Hagen and, as expected, Walker, the former pastor of worship and music at Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro, as its favorite to replace Coble. However, C4GC has had little success in endorsing winners.
