Total. Melt. Down.
You'd never hear the end of it. Every news outlet in the world would be screaming about it at the top of their lungs. It would knock every other story right off the front pages.
Every comedy show on television would make it their centerpiece. Every comic would build their monolog around it.
Allusions to it would show up in movies, in songs, on Broadway.
It would be a lie that would be tied around the Republican President's neck. And his VP, and his wife, and any Republican that came after him. It would be "potatoe" times a thousand.
The press wouldn't be satisfied with the story as is.
They'd be tracking down roommates, neighbors, delivery men, the telephone guy, the cable guy, the landlord, the guy who fixed their furnace.
But because it's Obama... oh, well. Every president lies. Lies are a good thing.

An old friend of mine grew up in Honolulu and went to high school with Obama. He was known as “Barry Obama” back then.
A consummate LIAR that should be removed from office as soon as possible!
I wonder if any other POTUS has had an uncle who was in this country illegally?
It won’t be long, now. Obama will admit he is an immigrant and naturalized as a U.S. Citizen in 1983.

This is Leadership? *sigh* He’d like us to believe that his leadership is such that his own staff doesn’t bother to ask him about his contacts with his relatives? Riggghhhtttt. Well maybe he’d gone a few days without lying and he just had to let it out.

Like “Papa John” Phillips, Barry’s memory is just a tad foggy, doubtless due to the influence of mind-altering substances....
John often used to tell the story behind “Me and My Uncle.” Years ago he began receiving publishing royalties from a song on a Judy Collins record with which he was unfamiliar. It was titled “Me and My Uncle”. He called Judy to let her know of the mistake because he hadn’t written any such song. She laughed and told him that about a year before, in Arizona after one of her concerts, they had a ‘Tequila Night’ back at the hotel with Stephen Stills, Neil Young and a few others. They were running a blank cassette and John proceeded to write “Me and My Uncle” on the spot. The next day, John woke up to the tequila sunrise with no recollection of the songwriting incident. Judy kept the cassette from that evening and then, without informing John, recorded the song for her own record. Over the years the song was recorded by several people, and eventually became a standard of the Grateful Dead. John used to joke that, little by little, with each royalty check, the memory of writing the song would come back to him.

And like Papa John, Barrys memory comes back to him the more he hears about “Him and His Uncle”.
Obama has a certain Ayer about him.
Give the boy a break. When your whole life is a lie, it’s difficult to keep it all straight.
No one told him he met him, he had to read about it in the paper like everyone else.
