This is all he can come up with? I thought Lincoln belonged to the ages. Is it possible for more than one person to belong to the ages because it’s “ages” as in more than one “age”?

Actually Stanton’s quote was re-written to make it sound better.

I sure miss the good old days when people living in this country didn’t worship communists.

What’s her name - Doris Goodwin the historian doesn’t believe Stanton said it - she said there was no record of the quotation until years later.

Baraq couldn’t be bothered to go to Gettysburg or to The Iron Lady’s funeral.
We’re watching.

In honor of NM's "Achievements" and that ridiculous photo from Robben Island, I am posting a picture of my favorite communist.

can South Africa survive without him? Will things go from bad to worse?

Yeah, a few minutes ago I happened on Fox News, and there was Bill O'Reilly, haranguing Rick Santorum about Mandela:
"He was a Communist, but he was a great man! He was a great man!"

We should send the same U.S. delegate to Mandela's service that we sent to Margaret Thatchers!

Mandela was very shrewd, for a couple of reasons. By refusing to retaliate against the white minority, he prevented the mass exodus that occurred in many other African countries following independence, ensuring there would be someone around to keep things running and prevent an economic collapse. Secondly, Mandela knew that taking the high road would burnish his own image and that of South Africa, keeping foreign aid and investment dollars flowing in.
Neighboring Zimbabwe, once the breadbasket of southern Africa, was already barreling to oblivion when Mandela took over. Good ol’ Robert Mugabe and his thugs gave Mandela a textbook example of “what not to do.’

He was a marxist terrorist. Good riddance. But, I tell you, I would not want to be a white Afrikaaner from this day forward. Can you say bloodbath and genocide?

Abraham Lincoln belongs to the ages...the comment made by Secretary of War Stanton as Lincoln died. Nelson Mandela belongs in the ground.

With jihad growing bigtime in Africa, Christianity will be annihilated or driven out — and the Iranian funding of it will still be blamed on various US allies.
