White House press secretary Jay Carney admitted today that President Barack Obama’s aides deceived the public when they said the president had never met his illegal immigrant uncle in Boston.
“Thank you for the question,” Carney told Fox News’ Ed Henry, before admitting that staffers misled journalists at the Boston Globe who asked in 2010 if Obama had ever met his uncle, the illegal immigrant.
“Back when this arose, [White House staff] looked at the record, including the president’s [autobiographical] book, and there was no evidence that they had met… and that was what was conveyed” to the public, Carney said.
However, he quickly added, “nobody spoke to the president.”
Carney said he corrected the error after Obama’s Kenyan uncle claimed this week during an immigration hearing that the president had stayed with him in Cambridge, Mass.
“I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him… and the president said that he, in fact, had met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school, Carney said.
“The president has not seen Omar Obama in 20 years and has not spoken with him in roughly 10 years,” he added.

And when it was reported in the public media, the (p)resident saw no need to correct the error that originated from the White House! He would allow that misunderstanding to remain as part of the public’s understanding of his past?

Aides read his book and gave this answer. Clueless and stupid. BO lies about everything and he is slowly but surely going down the worm hole.
He didn’t even know he had an uncle until he heard it like us in the media.
Obama didn’t know that he had lived with Omar for awhile until he read about it in the newspaper like the rest of us.
Naturally. Obama didn’t know anything until he read it in the paper— just like us.
The sycophants Obama has working for him must be losing respect for him ... or they've decided he worth lying for - because otherwise they would be fools. (hint: they're fools)
So - they make up his lies for him to keep all responsibility away...
So there are records? I would like to have a look at the records Carney speaks of
I’m having a hard time figuring out what (if anything) these people tell the truth about.
...as well as learning of things he's done or said in the past.
