While the media weeps over the passing of Mandela, let us remember part of his legacy they are ignoring: the disastrous economy of his home country.

Results matter, don't they?

“inequality”

Yeah, well that’t the natural order of things because people were made with unequal abilities, so get over it.

The only way to have things “equal” is by a scorched earth commie policy like Zimbabwe, North Korea, the old Khmer Rouge regime, etc.: make everyone “equally” miserable and destitute.

The maximum wealth and advantage to the great majority of all persons, regardless of their talents, is found in capitalism and freedom.

...people were made with unequal abilities

I'd rather say different abilities, most of these abilities more prevelant based on ethnicity.

I couldn't play NBA basketball. LeBron probably couldn't teach higher level math. Most people if they looked at pictures of us could probably guess correctly which one was in the NBA and which one is a Math teacher.

Given the history of SA, it’s really somewhat ridiculous to place all the blame for the nation’s economy on Mandela. It’s easy to appear prosperous when you have what is in effect a slave-based economy; when that structure fails, what outcomes would you expect? Take a look at the South following the Civil War.
