It’s clear that the Democrats have decided that their only chance to rise above the Obamacare disaster is to double-down on the “Free-Government-Sh*t-Voter” program and push government dependency as hard as possible. Extending unemployment insurance will be their big line in the sand in the coming budget battles, and any Republican who resists this will be portrayed as heartless as well as opposed to “economic stimulation”.

This fits right in with the drive to drastically increase the minimum wage and swell Medicaid’s ranks. It’s all designed to create 30 second TV spots for gimmedats. “Tax cuts for billionaires blah blah blah...”

Nothing is more important than making sure there is a get-out-the-vote effort for the remaining productive citizens in 2014.
