“With President Obama (re) declaring war on free markets to enact social justice this week, we have been warned and reminded that capitalism has no friend at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. The taxes, regulations, and demonization only backfire and retard growth. “

Exactly right.

Being a 7th generation Texan, and having grown up and graduated from high school in Beaumont (French High School, class of 1955), I knew the Conn stores very well. My parents and everyone we knew bought their appliances from the Conn’s.

I’m happy that the business is still around and doing so well.

This writer hasn’t been here

Here of you haven’t accepted that spanish is the language and that stores push veterans back, in favor of the big spending ‘poor’ refugees and any given Sunday night is EBT time at the HEB (supermarket) and that all students must declare regularly on standardized tests that they are or are not non white Hispanic, which they correctly interpret to mean, if you’re white you come from bad people and you’re not getting money from us, while the Hispanic kids hop into the brand new escalade

And they will never vote GOP. I don’t care if the are burning BO in effigy

As soon as Boehner signs away texas to be a blue state, and he probably means to, giving these people amnesty, Texas will be a forever changed irretrievably invaded place.

But we have so many of the “wrong” type of Yankee moving here. In my office alone there are several from the “north”, and all are rabid Obammy supporters. They moved here because “There just weren’t any jobs in town”. They destroyed their own community, now they spread their contagion down here.

Did Obama think the economy would increase by increasing the Social Security Tax in 2014?

Does he think the economy will rocket with higher health insurance premiums and an over 25% wage reductions for the average Americas in 2014?

Does he think the economy will get better with the closings of multiple small businesses due to Obamacare?

What were the Democrats thinking?

I moved from Mississippi, which is a closet-leftist State. The GOP in MS are mealy-mouthed noodle-spines, whose heroes are Thad cochran and Trent Lott (both Ole Miss cheerleaders

Thank goodness I'm in Texas with Ted Cruz as MY Senator.
