knarf, did you know persons who commit misdemeanors go to jail while those that commit felonies go to prison? I would think these document alterations are felonies, thusly the convicted would go to prison.

5 year statute of limitations for felonies except capital crimes.

General rule of thumb. We can’t go back and charge all the dem operatives running Freddie/Fannie with fraud now even though it is obvious they cooked the books to obtain bonuses and costs us trillions of dollars in destroyed wealth/recession.
