That had to suck. Bush’s Fault no doubt!
Was about 7 miles east of me. I heard it, then felt. It was like a wave of sound and motion. Shook everything in the house. I really thought something hit the roof. Dog is still jittery. ....red
Was it strong enough to break up the ice in Dallas?
And before anyone blames this on the oil and gas industry.
NOBODY DRILLS 5 MILES DEEP in that part of the state. NOBODY. They don’t now and they never have.
I hope everybody is OK. I lived just west of this epicenter years ago. Built a nice house there.

Is anywhere in OK related to the New Madrid?
I am sitting in the airport at OKC. I felt the quake, but I thought that it was ramp personnel working a jetway too roughly. Guess not.

Uh oh....
There’s been way more earthquakes in Oklahoma than usual, over the last few years.
Didn’t feel anything here...near Claremore. Felt our first one last year, will never forget it. Thanks for posting.

I thought our upstairs hot water heater exploded here in Edmond. This one was worse than the 5.4 a couple of years ago. Instead of a slowly growing rumble and shake, this was a huge explosion that shook everything and then rumbled slowly for close to a minute.
I can’t imagine what it is like in Kali, going through bigger earthquakes. Our problem is that our houses and buildings are not built for this. Found several new cracks along some seams and our house is already piered to bedrock.
