many many blacks are successful and admired surgeons, lawyers, professors, business owners, executives.

Add in athletes and per percentage of the ethnic population, average income is probably higher for blacks than for other ethnics. Although, many Hispanics are making $millions in baseball.

I don't know about that, Tom. Well paid athletes are really a very small group. I would say their numbers, for all athletes, doesn't add up to more than a few thousand people at most.

I mean, if you look at the rosters, each team in football can have, what 62 players? And most of those will get much lower salaries than the top quarterbacks and wide receivers. Same for baseball and basketball. Not many minorities in ice hockey! Soccer doesn't pay nearly as well as football, baseball and basketball.

Actually, I would think the millionaires in this group probably come to not more than a thousand, probably closer to 500 or so.
